Shipping & Delivery

When you've placed your order, please check your emails for further confirmations.

Once we have confirmed despatch please make arrangements to be available for the delivery to prevent delays. We will always aim to meet the established delivery date but this is dependant on successful authorization of payment and stock availability. In the rare event of a delay, we will contact you by email / telephone before your delivery date.

The price for each delivery service is EUR 3.95 in Malta and EUR 7.50 for delivery to Gozo. Other charges may apply for urgent orders and for weights exceeding 32kg. We offer FREE delivery in Malta for orders above EUR 75 and to GOZO above EUR150.

Delivery within 1 to 2 days excluding Sunday and public holidays.

This is our process from the point of order:

Once your order has been confirmed and all goods are in stock, and invoice is issued and payment is captured. We will also email/call you to fix a delivery appointment

Once despatched, delivery will be made solely to the address specified during the order. Any subsequent redirection requests are chargeable. If you are not available for the delivery, cannot collect the parcel and are not able to pay for a redirection we will contact you to establish another delivery appointment, which is charged at the normal rates of delivery to Malta/Gozo.

The delivery will require a signature from someone at the address specified. This is strictly enforced for security purposes.

We are always on the other end of a phone call or an Online Query and are happy to help with any delivery issues.

The purpose of this statement is to explain to you what personal information we collect and how we may use it.

When you order, we need to know your name, address, email address and telephone numbers. This allows us to process and fulfil your order.

You have the option to withhold personal information that is not required for the order process.

We do not store any of your credit card information on our servers. These are supplied by you only to the payment gateway provider (paypal)

We use your personal information to get in contact with you if needed to give you information relating to your orders with us.

We do not sell, rent or exchange your personal information with any third party for commercial reasons, beyond the essential requirement for credit/debit card validation during purchase.

We follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information which you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access in accordance with the data protection legislation.

We do not collect sensitive information about you except when you specifically knowingly provide it. In order to maintain the accuracy of our database, you can check, update or remove your personal details by logging into your account online or ringing us on +356 2331-5555.

We use a technology called "cookies" as part of a normal business procedure to track patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. A cookie is an element of data that our Website sends to your browser which is then stored on your system. You can set your browser to prevent this happening. Any information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you change your browser settings.

Ordering, Payment, Pricing & Promotions

The market in the goods is such that the specification, description and price of individual goods can change.

The invitation to you to order goods from us is not an offer by us to sell to you goods of the specification and description at the price indicated.

Your order is an offer to us to buy the goods of the specification and description at the price indicated.

Wherever possible we will accept your order to buy the goods of the specification and description at the price indicated by e-mail and in which case there will be a concluded agreement between you and us.

Wherever it is not possible to accept your order to buy the goods of the specification and description at the price indicated we will advise you by e-mail and offer to sell you the goods of the specification and description at the price stated in the e-mail and will state the period for which the offer or the price remains valid.

You may accept our offer by e-mail within the period stated and in which case there will be a concluded agreement between us.

Once an order is submitted, Paypal will perform a credit card authorization for the amount specified in our favour, to validate available credit. An authorization is not a charge to your card.

Once an order is confirmed and goods are available for delivery an invoice is issued and payment is claimed. The payment claimed may vary for the authorisation amount if you any changes to your order are made. If an order is cancelled the whole authorisation becomes null and your funds released.

Viewing Orders

From your My Account Dashboard you have the ability to view a snapshot of your recent account activity and update your account information. Select the appropriate links from the dashboard screen to view or edit information.

SCAN is proud to host the largest state-of-the-art technical servicing dept. on the Maltese Islands which provides direct technical assistance to customers over the counter. If you have any issues with product functionality, require technical assistance or have a warranty claim we invite you to visit the dept. situated at Level 1 - Scan Centre - Aldo Moro Rd. Marsa.
