Q: What does the Service deliver?
A: Through this Service all of Our Club members shall receive offers and information from Us and from Our third party partners, via SMS.
These offers and information include:
Information on special discounts;
Information on how to pick up Gifts;
Arrival of new collections of products and/or services;
Invitations to events;
Invitations for service free trials or products; and
Branding of services and/or products
Q: How much does it cost?
A: The Service is free of charge to all those of You who are subscribed with Us.
Q: How frequently will I receive an SMS?
A: Most SMS content is relevant and of value to You. You shall receive a few messages per month; however the number of messages received varies depending on ongoing commercial activity during the year.
Q: When will I receive an SMS?
A: SMS content is sent between 8am and 8pm. Content might be received later if Your mobile phone was out of coverage or switched off for an extended period of time.
Q: Who will see my mobile number?
A: The Service is being operated by SCAN. We will not share your personal information with any other person or company. Third parties do not have access to Your number or to Your personal information unless You give Your prior consent to share that information directly with them. Only SCAN will have access to Your information.
Q: Who is eligible to subscribe?
A: This Service is available to all those of You subscribed to either one of the following mobile service operators (i.e. Vodafone, GO, Melita, RedTouch or Ping).
Q: How do I subscribe to the Service?
A: Subscribing to the Service is simple. Simply Text 's' to 99180578 and Your number will be added to the Club. You shall be charged for this SMS at the normal SMS rate which You are charged from Your current network. Upon subscribing You shall automatically be eligible to receive advertising consisting of offers and information from Us and from Our third party partners.
Q: Can I unsubscribe from the Service?
A: Of course You can! You may unsubscribe from this Service at any time by:-
- sending an email to [email protected] requesting to be unsubscribed; or
- for Vodafone users, by calling Customer Care free of charge and requesting to be unsubscribed; or
- calling SCAN on 23315555 and requesting to be unsubscribed from the Service. You shall be charged for this call at the applicable call rates; or
- texting 'u' to 99180578. You shall be charged for this SMS at the normal SMS rate which You are charged from Your current network.
You should note that if you unsubscribe from the Service using any of the methods listed above, you may only subscribe again by sending an ‘S’ to the 99180578.
Q: If I unsubscribe, will I still receive promotional messages?
A: We can only make sure that You will not continue receiving any of Our advertising SMS, as well as any advertising SMS sent on behalf of our third party partners. You are advised that there could be local and foreign companies that have their own list of mobile numbers and which could be sending messages using other systems and networks. We have no control over any activity of third party clubs and we shall not be held liable in such event. In such cases You would need to contact the advertising company and ask to be removed from their marketing distribution list
